Vintage Love

Randi and Jesse are engaged.

They love all things vintage!

They are counting down the days until their September nuptials.

The first part of their shoot was inspired by the photo at the end of this post of Jesse’s Grandparents.
The photo below shows the re-creation of his Grandparents picture.
So we headed to one of the oldest locations in Orange County……San Juan Capistrano.
It’s funny how the most amazing places are just a few minutes from your home but you can easily miss them.
San Juan Capistrano is just choc full of history, culture and FUN, yet until I started as a photographer I had forgotten it was right outside my door.
As a child we were taken on field trips to the mission, where we would take in the history of one of the oldest missions in California and watch the swallows return.
But children grow up and stop going on field trips.  They get caught up in modern pleasures and forget parts of the past.
Becoming a location photographer has opened the door to a rich history of buildings and landmarks that may have been left in the recesses of my memory.

The second part of this amazing shoot was inspired by a circa 1970’s flower child vibe.
Randi and Jesse’s love and spirit lit up the camera.
I felt like I was caught up in a moment from another time period.
Right from the start to the end of this session I felt like I was with a pair of kindred spirits

Randi and Jesse I am so exicted to capture your wedding later this year.
I know it will be as magical as your engagement shoot.
