Lynden’s Lotus

This is Lynden. She is 7!! In July she was diagnosed with Systemic Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL). Stage 3. “Systemic” means it is within her body, beyond her skin. Stage 3 means it is in at least 3 places. Besides the area on her skin, she has two more tumors in her upper chest area.
I have photographed Lynden since she was first born and have had watched her grow up. I can’t imagine what this sweet family is going through. They are all complete warriors and I am in awe of their strength and unwavering faith in God.
Childhood cancer gets 3.8% of the National cancer’s funding in the United States. The amount is equivalent to what America’s spend at Starbucks in just T H R E E days!! Three. Let that sink in for just a moment. THIS is why Lynden and her mama are making lava bead bracelets with a lotus charm. All the proceeds are donated to the pediatric cancer foundation. They are beautiful just like Lynden. They have already raised $10,000 for the pediatric cancer foundation.
Child bracelets: $7
Adult braclets: $10
