Love Letters to Konnor from His Mamma

 

  • Kyllian wouldn’t stop crying so Konnor threw a bunch of stuffed animals at him and said, “Here are your comfort pets.”
  • Watching the original Willy Wonka and Konnor asks how they got all the oompa loom people to look the same. I told them they used a lot of makeup. Konnor’s response, “Oh, they used Trump makeup.”

2013
  • I showed Konnor a photo of him together with his Great Grandpa because they shared a birthday.  He got really excited and said, “There’s Great Grandpa…..we can still see him.”
  • I wanted Konnor to say hello to a friend I had over.  “Konnor would you please say hello to my friend and be nice.”  He threw his arms up in frustration and said, “ahhhh Mamma, I’m so tired of saying hello to your friends.”
  • Konnor  is getting dressed. His shirt gets caught on his head, ha ha always funny. He starts coming toward me with his hands out like claws and says “I’m the chicken monster … OF DOOM!!”
  • My child is dancing at 2nd base. He is so proud of his self he is literally dancing to some music that is only in his head.
  • I had my bras hanging up in my bathroom to dry. Konnor comes in and declares, “mamma you have a lot of boobie holders.”
  • Konnor is playing with two cars and I hear him say one is rhe konnor car and one is the kaleb car. He makes the kaleb car crash and starts singing, “konnor is the best, fastest konnor in the world……kaleb is the worst kaleb in the world and always crashes and loses.”
  • “Mamma I want to go to Panda for dinner.”  Me: “Konnor it’s to far away for tonight.”  Konnor:” no it isn’t Mamma, it’s in America.”
  • “Can the doctor change the new baby to a girl?”
  • We were watching a kids Bible movie.  I told the boys I had been to one of the places they were showing.  Konnor asked me, “you went to Jesus world mamma?”
2012
  • As we were planning for Konnor’s 4th birthday party he told me, “I don’t want to get any older.”
  • We were checking out of a store and Konnor looked at the cashier, turned around, shook his butt and said, “I”m sexy and I know it.”
  • My mom was explaining to Konnor about how lieing is bad.  She asked him if he knew a hot place where bad people go and he said, “Las Vegas.”
  • Konnor was so excited to start playing soccor that he slept with his soccor shoes.  He took his ball out before ever playing a game and said he had to practice.
  • “Mamma, I want to tell you a secret.”  He comes up to me and gives me a kiss on the cheek.  We now give each other secrets/kisses on the check.
  • I called Konnor my soccer player as he got into the car. “Oh mamma, thank you.”  “What for Konnor?”  “For calling me a soccer player.”
  • When Konnor does something wrong he says to me, “I’m sorry mamma, do you still love me?”
  • On Kaleb’s first day back to school, Konnor packed his own lunch box with snacks to go to grandma’s so that he could be like Kaleb.
  • When Konnor prays he covers his entire face with his hands and says, “Jesus bless our hearts.”
  • Konnor asks me to sing to him at night and always says he wants me to sing, Jesus heart.  He sings every word of the song with me, “Jesus, Jesus, there is just something about that name.”
  • We were watching the old cartoons of Davey and Golath.  The opening part has a bunch of guys playing trumpets.  Konnor calls them the Jesus Band.
  • Konnor uses the play kitchen as a hidding place for his treasures and stuffed animals
  • Konnor calls Woolfgang, “Foofy”.
  • Konnor does a special dance to the song, “I’m sexy and I know it.”  He thinks it’s the funniest thing in the world.
  • Konnor slept with a fork.
  • After Kingston was taken to the hospital and Konnor came to see him, he would not go near him.  Later at night Konnor told me, “mamma it’s my fault that my baby brother almost died.  I gave him the peach.  Do you still love me?”  My dear little son, it wasn’t your fault at all.  You were just sharing like we taught you.
  • Konnor has now said we are a non-peach eating family.
  • I was talking to Konnor about heaven and great-grandpa being there.  I told him one day we would be with him in heaven.  Konnor got sad and said, “I”m going to miss our house here mamma.”
