We’ve only just begun to live
White lace and promises
White lace and promises
A kiss for luck and we’re on our way
We’ve only begun
Before the risin’ sun, we fly
So many roads to choose
So many roads to choose
We’ll start out walkin’ and learn to run
And yes, we’ve just begun
Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin’ it over, just the two of us
Workin’ together day to day, together
And when the evening comes, we smile
So much of life ahead
We’ll find a place where there’s room to grow
And yes, we’ve just begun
Lyrics by the Carpenters
Yes, Erin and Josh have only just begun, yet their beginning took place 15 or so years ago.
Erin and Josh were high school sweetheart……….each others first love……….each others last love.
The high school romance remained in their youth, but their friendship continued into adulthood.
Life went by. They took different paths. Met different people.
Fast forward a decade
And Erin and Josh found LOVE once more.
Love never dies, it just changes shape
There is nothing more romantic then former loves who find that love again at a later time.
A picture perfect love
I just had to capture this image with the ducklings crossing. It reminded me of the little duckies that will soon be following Erin and Josh. They shared with me how they want to start a family right away.
Josh has a deep and wonderful heart. A heart that beats only for Erin.
Erin’s love for Josh runs deep and wide.
Ever meet a couple that is just so darn cute you can just feel the love and “cuteness” radiate from them from across the room? That’s Josh and Erin.
I have so many ideas dancing in my head when it comes to a photoshoot. I get so excited when a couple is willing to let me “play” with my vision. I wanted to bring a little vintage romance to the shoot. I dug around a used record store (that in and of itself was a challenge to find) and found some great old albums that brought back so many warm memories. Lucky for me, when I showed Erin the Carpenters record she got really excited. Turns out the Carpenters were one of her all time favorite artists. That bonded me and Erin for ever because the Carpenters are my one and only all time favorite musical artist!
Erin and Josh, although you’ve only just begun I know you will have a lifetime of romantic walks in the park, deep conversations by a roaring fire, gazing at each other from across the room and lots of xoxoxoxo.
