Trash the Dress

Once in a while there comes along a shoot that is so creative, so artistic and so out of the norm that I literally race home so I can start looking through the files and begin editing.

When Andrea contacted me about “trashing” her wedding dress, I knew just the place to create some magic. Contrary to what the title sounds like, we do not really destroy a wedding dress on a trash the dress shoot. We just take photos in a location that a bride would never go to on her wedding day and allow the dress to get dirty. Andrea told me her wedding dress was just hanging in her closet and would never be worn again. She wanted to wear it one more time and do something totally creative with it. I believe we have done this.
